What the Mach?

A term originally derived from aeronautics and flight, Mach 1 denotes the speed of sound. The approach to and reach of Mach 1 transitions one to supersonic speed.

Who is eligible to apply?

Any early-stage teams interested in building on Monad are welcome to apply! This accelerator will be most useful for teams that have moved past ideation phase and are focused on developing a proof of concept or minimum viable product (MVP).

We look forward to supporting teams who are passionate about building something novel.

What time commitment is expected?

<Mach 1> aims to help projects achieve significant milestones within 4 week-long programs through curated MasterClasses and Workshops.

  • Duration: 4 active weeks (across 7-week program)
  • Time Commitment: Minimum of 8 hours per week
  • Format: Global, Remote
  • Sessions will be held in the Eastern Time zone

MasterClasses and Workshops will be hosted in real-time and require mandatory attendance.

  • Mondays: 2 MasterClasses, 1 hour each
  • Wednesdays:  1 Workshop, 1.5 hours
  • Thursdays:  1 Workshop, 1.5 hours
What are the dates for <Mach 1>?

Applications for the first Mach cohort <Mach 1> will be open through August 30, 2024.

The program is expected to commence on September 9, 2024 with an anticipated end date of October 25, 2024.

Programming will include on- and off-weeks. A schedule will be published to participants.

Can you share tips for completing the application?

There’s no formula for a great application, but here are some things to keep in mind:

  • Explain things in simple terms (no frills)
  • Lean into what makes your team or your product unique.
  • Share anything that helps showcase your progress so far.
